Tokyo-based Alpha Consulting Group acquired by Hudson Global

Japanese human capital business Alpha Consulting Group has been acquired by Hudson Global, a global provider of talent solutions.

Established in 2022, Alpha Consulting Group is a professional services firm specializing in recruitment and talent solutions. The Tokyo-based firm also has an advisory line of business, which advises clients on a range of talent hiring and development domains.

For Hudson Global, the move marks its entry into Japan – the second-largest market in Asia-Pacific – and supports the company’s growth ambition and localization strategy.

Jeff Eberwein, Chief Executive Officer of Hudson Global, said: “The acquisition of Alpha Consulting Group provides Hudson Global the capability to provide local and on-site support within the large Japanese recruiting market, a home of many multinational companies.”

Headquartered in the US, Hudson Global has a team of over 1,000 staff working from offices around the world. Its Asian business operates with offices in China, Hong Kong, India, Philippines, Singapore, and now Japan.
