PwC kicks off next financial year in Singapore with 11 new partners

Global accounting and advisory firm PwC has kicked off its new financial year in Singapore with 11 new partners. They work across the firm’s Assurance, Deals, Consulting and Tax divisions.

Chee Kiong Teo

Business: Deals

Chee Kiong specialises in financial due diligence for private equity and corporate clients, supporting them throughout their investment and sale processes. A veteran in the Southeast Asian private equity market, Chee Kiong brings extensive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) expertise across the deal continuum, and offers significant experience in privatisations, leveraged buyouts, minority stake investments, and credit deals.

Hui Ling Loh

Business: Assurance

Hui Ling specialises in assurance and financial reporting, focusing on the health sector. Her experience spans large SGX-listed groups in Singapore and global audits for private companies with presence in the Asia Pacific, China, Europe and the United States. She also supports clients across diverse sectors, including shipping, construction, real estate, retail and technology.

Jeffrey Chew

Business: Assurance

Having built his career dedicated to providing assurance and advisory services, Jeffrey specialises in the dynamic asset and wealth management sector, with a particular emphasis on venture capital clients. He leads PwC Singapore’s Venture Capital Assurance Practice. Working closely with tech startups worldwide, Jeffrey not only offers strategic mentorship, but also facilitates market access, enabling these companies to thrive in competitive environments.

Jeremy Gray Stobie

Business: Tax

Jeremy is a seasoned tax professional specialising in complex US international tax matters. While his primary focus is on the financial services and asset and wealth management sectors, he also brings experience across a wide range of industries, including real estate, technology, energy and hospitality. Jeremy works with multinational corporations, businesses, entrepreneurs and family offices to deliver tailored tax strategies and solutions that addresses their unique needs.

Kian Giap Kok

Business: Tax

Kian Giap specialises in tax matters, focusing on the asset and wealth management, and the real estate and hospitality sectors. He has been advising clients – ranging from real estate investment trusts to global real estate fund managers, real estate developers, owners and operators – helping them navigate complex Singapore and international tax issues. He offers expert guidance on a variety of matters, including fund formation, investment M&A, and tax compliance.

Melissa Tan

Business: Assurance

Melissa specialises in assurance and financial reporting, with a proven track record of leading complex global audits for listed and privately held companies. She has a strong focus on the transport and logistics sector and has cross-sector experience in technology, retail and trading industries. In addition to International Financial Reporting Standards, Melissa is also well versed in PCAOB standards and SOX compliance, having worked with US listed companies.

Puneet Kathuria

Business: Consulting

Specialising in enterprise business transformations, Puneet integrates Oracle and other best-of-breed platforms to help clients across various industries in their transformation journey. He works closely with business leaders to deliver industry-focused solutions. With his rich advisory experience in process optimisation, Puneet focuses on achieving cost reduction and business growth acceleration.

Roy Ng

Business: Assurance

Roy specialises in assurance services in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors. His deep expertise encompasses PCAOB integrated and ISA global audits, and IPOs audits in both the US and Singapore markets. Roy has dedicated his career to assisting publicly listed companies – ranging from US FPIs to SGX entities – as well as multinational corporations, private equity-backed enterprises and innovative startups.

Shaun Ng

Business: Assurance

Shaun specialises in assurance, financial reporting and internal controls, with a wealth of experience spanning the real estate, hospitality, private funds and asset management sectors. He has been working with large SGX-listed groups in Singapore and clients with cross-border presence including in the Asia Pacific, Europe and the United States. His also works for clients in engineering, construction, automotive and industrial products.

Wan Ming Lee

Business: Deals

Hailing from a background in M&A, Wan Ming specialises in deals advisory for both domestic and cross-border transactions, with a particular focus on the financial services sector. She has extensive experience advising private equity firms and corporate clients on both buy-side and sell-side processes. Her expertise includes conducting due diligence, performing funding reviews, assessing synergies and business plan evaluations, and providing post-deal support.

Weijie Lin

Business: Tax

Weijie specialises in GST and provides a full suite of GST compliance as well as advisory services to clients across a range of industries. As an Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA), Weijie helps clients adopt a commercial and practical approach to GST and supports them in navigating challenges in today’s evolving tax landscape.
