FTI Consulting launches Real Assets and Infrastructure Advisory team in Asia
FTI Consulting has strengthened its Construction, Projects and Assets practice in Asia with the hire of Alexander Marx, who has been brought on board to setup and build out the Advisory & Transformation capability.
The Construction, Projects & Assets practice of FTI Consulting supports its clients with Strategic Advisory, Asset Management, Technology Enablement & Data Intelligence, Delivery Excellence and 3PMO services.
In Asia, the firm has now added to that footprint with the new Real Assets and Infrastructure Advisory team, which focuses on areas such as strategic decision-making, service delivery model design, digital enablement & asset intelligence and program execution.
“We are pleased to launch our advisory capability in Asia, dedicated to real asset and infrastructure investors, operators and developers, expanding our presence in this important industry,” stated FTI Consulting in a statement.
Leading the arm is Alexander Marx, who brings over 15 years of experience helping clients achieve operational excellence, digital transformation, and value creation across capital intensive industries.
Marx joins from Deloitte, where he spent seven years. During this time, he advised Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms and public sector clients on topics such as operating model redesign, post-merger integration, PropTech and ConTech strategy, and digital transformation. He also has experience with cost reductions and major government digital infrastructure projects.
His track record includes helping identify $7 million annual savings for a major investor and supporting the UK Government in piloting a nationwide carbon reporting platform. He has also spearheaded innovative solutions involving AI, blockchain and data analytics to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
Before Deloitte, Marx worked at Arup, Avison Young and Rider Levett Bucknall.
