GE HealthCare signs partnership with Vietnamese IT company FPT

GE HealthCare has signed a strategic partnership with FPT, a globally operating IT company headquartered in Vietnam.
The strategic partnership comes on the back of a longstanding collaboration between the two companies, now being deepened from project-based engagements to a more long-term alliance.
As part of the alliance, FPT will become a channel partner for GE HealthCare, jointly promoting and delivering GE HealthCare’s digital solutions in Vietnam and throughout its country network. FPT will also team up with GE HealthCare’s Science & Technology Office and affiliates to co-develop new digital healthcare products.
Another key part of the deal is the establishment of an FPT Competency Center in Vietnam. This center will provide dedicated resources to support product strategy, innovation, portfolio planning, development, and customer onboarding. It will also play a critical role in change management, support services and annual maintenance, ensuring seamless integration and operation in GE HealthCare’s digital ecosystem.
With approximately 53,000 colleagues worldwide, GE HealthCare is one of the world’s largest providers of healthcare services and solutions. The firm also has a management consulting arm. FPT meanwhile has over 54,000 employees.
Mark Stoesz, President of Enterprise Solutions and Partnerships for International Market at GE HealthCare said: “Our partnership with FPT allows us to accelerate the adoption of AI-driven solutions that improve hospital operations, enhance patient care, and optimize medical workflows. Together, we are building a smarter, more connected healthcare ecosystem that empowers healthcare providers, improves patient outcomes and increases access to care worldwide.”
“As a digital transformation enabler, FPT can co-develop cutting-edge healthcare solutions with GE HealthCare,” said Pham Minh Tuan, Executive Vice President at FPT. “We see immense opportunities to harness AI to transform the industry, enhance efficiency, and drive smarter decision-making. The establishment of the FPT Competency Center will further accelerate the development of AI-powered solutions, supporting GE HealthCare’s mission of creating a healthier future for all.”
