Thailand-based product innovation consultancy Appsynth acquired by Deloitte

Appsynth, a digital consultancy in Thailand, has been purchased by Deloitte, which has integrated the acquisition within its Deloitte Digital outfit.

Founded in 2010, Appsynth is a consulting firm specialised in tech-driven product innovation. The Bangkok-based company, which has around 70 staff, helps its clients design and build new digital products, apps, workflows and solutions.

Eugene Ho, Deloitte Southeast Asia Chief Executive Officer, said that the bolt-on will boost the firm’s digital capabilities, as well as help the company meet growing demand for digital product services in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

“By combining Deloitte’s digital consulting services with Appsynth’s expertise in digital product development, Deloittewill be uniquely positioned to build seamless digital experiences, and accelerate growth for its clients while enabling them to stay ahead in a digital-first world.”

Metinee Jongsaliswang, Country Managing Partner for Thailand at Deloitte, added that Appsynth’s capabilities will deepen Deloitte Digital’s offering and seamlessly complement the firm’s multi-disciplinary portfolio. “We will be able to deliver a comprehensive suite of digital transformation offerings for the clients with full hyperlocal context, including digital and AI marketing services.”

All employees of Appsynth will cross to the Big Four firm. Financial terms and conditions of the deal have not been disclosed.

In Thailand, Deloitte has over 50 partners and more than 1,400 professionals. The company has been serving clients in the country for over 80 years.
