Forvis Mazars appoints Rudi Lang as Financial Services leader for Asia-Pacific

Forvis Mazars has appointed company veteran Rudi Lang as its new Financial Services Industry Leader for Asia-Pacific, effective immediately.
Based out of Singapore, Rudi Lang will lead the firm’s Financial Services practice, one of its largest in the region, and lead teams across more than 15 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
Lang has been with Forvis Mazars for over 27 years, most recently serving as the Global Head of Financial Services (based out of London) and a member of the Group Executive Board overseeing Sustainability Services.
Throughout his career at Forvis Mazars (he comes from the Mazars side of the business), Lang has worked with some of the firm’s largest clients, European regulators, and public authorities on topics such as in cross-border audits, regulatory projects, restructuring and risk management assignments.
He has been involved in Prudential Capital Assessment Reviews and Asset Quality Reviews for European banks and advised UK and European regulators.
Prior to his time in the United Kingdom, Lang held several roles in the company’s German business.
In his new role, Lang will focus on strengthening client relationships, fostering regional collaboration among member firm, and delivering innovative client solutions. He will also build out the Financial Services portfolio, including in domains such as sustainability, ESG, data & analytics, compliance, and innovation.
