Bain & Company partner Erik Pot relocates to Ho Chi Minh City office

Global strategy consulting firm Bain & Company has welcomed the Dutchman Erik Pot to its senior team in Ho Chi Minh City.
Previously based in Amsterdam, Pieter Pot brings expertise in mergers & acquisitions, commercial due diligence, value creation and strategy to Bain & Company’s Vietnamese business. He works mainly for private equity funds and their portfolio companies, leading engagements in Vietnam and throughout Southeast Asia.
In addition to his private equity work, Pot is a member of the Consumer Products, Retail, and Telecom, Media & Technology practices.
The Dutchman joined Bain & Company in 2010, after completing his PhD in Quantitative Economics from Maastricht University. In the Netherlands, he was promoted to partner in 2020, a role he now also holds in Vietnam. He previously also worked from Bain & Company’s offices in London and San Francisco.
The Ho Chi Minh City office is one of Bain & Company’s youngest, having launched in September 2023, then becoming the firm’s sixth office in Southeast Asia.
