SJA adds delay expert Zdravko Kuruzović to senior team in Singapore office

Australia-headquartered SJA has strengthened its Singapore team with Zdravko Kuruzović.

A member of SJA’s Forensic practice, Zdravko Kuruzović has over 13 years of experience in professional services and construction, working at the intersection of project planning, controls, and forensic delay analysis.

He specialises in delay analysis and dispute resolution – his career includes serving as a delay expert on formal disputes, assessing delay durations, apportioning delays, and preparing detailed expert reports. Kuruzović has managed complex disputes across diverse geographies and served clients across a wide range of industries, including mining, energy, infrastructure, and marine.

“Zdravko’s deep understanding of delay methodologies, combined with his practical insights into FIDIC, NEC, and bespoke contractual frameworks, will greatly enhance our ability to deliver tailored, effective solutions for our clients,” said SJA in a statement. “We look forward to the valuable contributions Zdravko will bring to our team and clients in Singapore.”

Prior to joining SJA, Kuruzović worked for rival Diales (formerly Driver Trett) in its Seoul office. Before that, he held roles at several consultancies, such as Blake Newport, ForenZK Consulting, and EVRA Consulting. Kuruzović kicked off his career in the construction sector in South Africa.

Part of UK-based global engineering & environmental consultancy RSK, SJA has an established presence in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia (Hong Kong and Singapore). Two months ago, SJA launched its ambition to also build a presence in Europe, a move that coincided with the firm’s 25th anniversary.
