ArcBlue launches 11th Asia Pacific office in Kuala Lumpur
Bain & Company subsidiary ArcBlue has launched a new office in Kuala Lumpur.
Chris Hampden, Southeast Asia director at ArcBlue, said the new hub comes in response to growing demand from clients in the Malaysian market, and builds on its growth strategy to expand its coverage across the Asia Pacific region.
“ArcBlue is experiencing an exciting growth phase across Southeast Asia, and we are pleased to be opening an office to service our Malaysian client base locally. This local presence will allow us to build the Malaysian team with top talent and continue to provide outstanding procurement outcomes for our clients,” said Hampden.
Established in 2013, ArcBlue is dedicated to procurement and supply chain services. The firm has over 150 consultants operating from offices in Australia (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra and Hobart), New Zealand (Auckland), Singapore (city-state), and Greater China (Hong Kong). Kuala Lumpur becomes its 11th office overall.
Adrian Gjurasic, Executive Director for Asia, highlighted that Malaysia represents a strategic addition to ArcBlue’s footprint. “With the influx of global centers of excellence, strong growth trajectory, and a vibrant local market, Malaysia is an incredibly important location for ensuring that procurement and supply chains are able to deliver superior results and sustainable outcomes regionally and globally.”
Recruitment for a local team is already well underway, including the forthcoming hire of a Malaysia Lead.
ArcBlue is an independent subsidiary of global strategy giant Bain & Company, which snapped up the award-winning procurement consultancy early 2022. Together, the two consultancies team up on client engagements to provide an integrated end-to-end procurement transformation offering, from strategy through to execution.
