MHP appoints Yin Dai as partner in its Chinese business
International business and technology consulting firm MHP has appointed a new partner in its Chinese business: Yin Dai.
In his role as partner, Yin Dai will focus on helping MHP expand its position in the Chinese consulting market. “I will focus on topics relating to new mobility – especially e-mobility and autonomous driving, the two main drivers of change in the Chinese automotive industry.”
Dai brings extensive experience in the automotive and mobility space to the firm, mainly gained at the intersection between operations management and technology.
Over the past five years, he has assisted a number of Chinese automotive and mobility companies with operational excellence, turnarounds, digital transformation, and technology implementation, among others.
Commenting on his move to MHP, he said that he particularly appreciates the firm’s deep expertise in the sector, and the freedom granted to local management teams. “I’m optimistic about the future of MHP in China. We have sufficient automotive expertise to make a real impact – and good conditions for competing in the Chinese market.”
Headquartered in Germany, MHP has more than 4,500 employees in Germany, UK, Romania, US, and China. The company is a subsidiary of iconic automotive brand Porsche, which also is the parent of Porsche Consulting.
