Livingstone Partners launches new office in Seoul, South Korea
International M&A consulting firm Livingstone Partners has launched a new office in Seoul, its second in Asia and eleventh worldwide.
US-headquartered Livingstone Partners is an investment bank and M&A consultancy with around 120 staff. The firm focuses on the mid-market segment, typically closing around 50 transactions per year.
Andrew Isgrig and Ralph Hagelgans, Co-Chairmen of Livingstone Partners, said that the expansion into South Korea comes in response to growing demand for deal coverage in the dynamic Asian market. The firm’s other office in Asia is based in China’s capital city Beijing.
“We look forward to expanding into the South Korean market and extending relationships enabling both inbound and outbound M&A opportunities,” said Isgrig and Hagelgans, respectively based in the firm’s Chicago and Düsseldorf offices.
Leading the new Seoul office are the duo David Han and Eek Sang Yoon, who have been appointed as partner. They both bring a background in investment banking, corporate finance and debt advisory, and have according to their profile on the corporate site of Livingstone Partners “built an outstanding network of corporate clients and investors in South Korea and Southeast Asia.”
“The Seoul office will enable Livingstone Partners to forge stronger connections with local businesses, provide tailored solutions, and tap into the dynamic Korean market,” stated Han. “The opportunities ahead and the chance to contribute to Korean companies’ growth and success as well as access the Korean market for existing clients are compelling.”
Alongside Chicago, Düsseldorf, Beijing, and Seoul, the other offices of Livingstone Partners are based in: Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Madrid, Valencia, and Stockholm.
