Teneo adds Katherine Kim and Lloyd Xu to Asia Pacific team

Global professional services firm Teneo has made two senior additions to its Communications practice in Asia Pacific.

Katherine Kim, a senior managing director at Teneo, is relocating from the firm’s New York office to Sydney to help drive growth of the strategic communications and investor engagement offerings.

Kim advises clients on M&A, IPOs, spin-offs, private equity and shareholder activism, mostly in the context of transactions and financial situations. She also has expertise with cross-border regulatory issues.

Prior to joining Teneo in New York, Kim worked in Sydney as a thematic analyst with CLSA and an investment banking vice president at Morgan Stanley. She began her career at J.P. Morgan in New York.

Lloyd Xu joins Teneo as a senior vice president and will focus on financial communications and investor relations advisory for companies in the Hong Kong and Greater China. Throughout his career, Xu has provided capital markets and investor relations services for IPOs, acquisitions, business transformations, restructuring and leadership changes across Greater China and the United States.

Xu joins Teneo from Ping An Group, where he served as Co-Head of Investor Relations. Prior to this, he was an equity analyst with CLSA and worked as an auditor with KPMG.
