International consulting firm ASCELA has expanded into Southeast Asia with the launch of a new office in Singapore.

After previously expanding into the Middle East, ASCELA (founded in 2018) has now also landed in Singapore, where the firm will initially focus on projects in the logistics and supply chain consulting segment.

“Opening a new office in the vibrant city of Singapore is a strategic move that underscores our commitment to international expansion,” said Nitin Srivastawa and Nivesh Chaudhary, directors at ASCELA. “More than being just a milestone; it is also the realisation of a long-held dream.”

From its office in Gurgaon (India) and Dubai (UAE), ASCELA has grown into a 50-person management consulting firm focused on strategic, organisational, and financial matters, specialising in the infrastructure, transportation, sports, and logistics sectors.

The consulting firm has over the years already built a client base in Southeast Asia, including in Singapore and Indonesia, with the new office in Collyer Quay to provide closer proximity to those clients, and serve as a springboard for expansion in the region.

“We are deeply grateful to our clients, partners, and stakeholders, whose trust and collaboration have been instrumental in the journey of launching in Singapore,” said Srivastawa and Chaudhary. On picking Singapore as its base, they pointed at the city’s dynamic business environment, strategic location, innovation-driven economy, and not to forget – its important role in Asia-Pacific’s logistics landscape.

In fact, Singapore ranks according to the World Bank as one of the best performing logistics hub in Asia Pacific, with its airport among the best in the world, and its port one of the most connected harbours on the planet (links to over 600 other ports). Illustrating the attractiveness of Singapore’s logistical infrastructure, the small city-state is the top source of global cross border capital for the industrial and logistics sector worldwide, said Colliers in a recent report.

An award-winning consultancy in the logistics space, the ASCELA team in Singapore will “offer a range of strategic advisory and financial and operational services and to companies navigating the complex logistics landscape of the Asia-Pacific region,” said the directors. “Our team is well-experienced and understands the unique challenges and opportunities businesses face in the region.”

In November last year, ASCELA moved into a larger office in Dubai to accommodate its growth in the Middle East.
