Zulfikar Causer new country leader of BDO in Pakistan

BDO has appointed a new Managing Partner for its business in Pakistan, with Zulfikar Causer taking over from Qasim Causer.

Now into his twentieth year at BDO, Karachi-based Zulfikar Causer has grown through BDO’s ranks in Pakistan to Partner and National Head of the Audit division. He also is BDO’s International Liaison Partner for Pakistan, bringing together inbound requests from international BDO members firms with local staff, and vice versa.

Commencing next week, Zulfikar will lead the Pakistani business, assuming responsibility for the firm’s strategic direction, operations, client offerings, and capability development.

Under his leadership, BDO in Pakistan will undoubtedly continue to uphold its values of quality, integrity, and client-focused service. His vision and expertise will drive the firm towards new heights of success and innovation,” said Qasim.

Remaining with the firm, Qasim will per the 1st of July transition to the role of Executive Chairman of BDO in Pakistan.

Founded in 1951 as Ebrahim & Co, the firm became part of the BDO network in 1982. BDO Pakistan offers the group’s full suite of services, including audit, assurance, advisory, deals, tax, and legal.

BDO operates with three offices in Pakistan, in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
