FTI Consulting names Roy Huang as Head of Asia & Caribbean

Roy Huang, an experienced consultant with a focus on Asia, has been named as FTI Consulting’s new Head of Asia & Caribbean.

In his new position Roy Huang will have executive responsibility over the region, tasked with finding ways to drive growth and overseeing the company’s operations. In a dual role, he will also lead the firm’s Business Transformation practice in Asia.

Based in Hong Kong, Huang has years of experience as a Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Before that, he worked at fellow strategy consultancy Roland Berger.

“Roy’s leadership and strategy experience will help us drive the next phase of our aspirations in the Asia & Caribbean region to deliver new opportunities for our clients, our business and our people,” said Steven Gunby, President and CEO of FTI Consulting.

Huang was also previously leader of BCG’s Private Equity & Principal Investor practice and the Corporate Finance and Strategy practices for Greater China. Prior to his time at BCG, Huang was with Roland Berger. He holds a bachelor of science in mathematics and applied mathematics from Tsinghua University.
