Layers Consulting inks alliance with Dutch counterpart Berenschot
Japan-based Layers Consulting has entered into a strategic partnership with Berenschot, one of the larger management consulting firms in the Netherlands.
The aim of the collaboration is to work together in providing each other’s clients with an extended cross-border service. For its multinational Japanese clients support in Europe, Layers Consulting will refer those to Berenschot, and vice versa, Berenschot will connect Dutch multinationals active in the Japanese market with Layers Consulting.
The initiative for the partnership came from Layers Consulting, which was actively seeking an alliance partner in Europe to better serve its international customer base.
Operating out of Tokyo, Layers Consulting is one of Japan’s leading management consultancies, offering services such as strategy, organisation, finance, human resources, and business process management. The firm has around 500 consultants and staff.
Berenschot ranks as one the leading players in the Dutch consulting landscape, and is with 450 staff roughly of equal size. Berenschot works with public and private sector clients and has offices in Utrecht and Brussels (Belgium).
Annet de Lange from Berenschot said that both firms share a common service portfolio and standards of excellence. The two companies will also use the partnership umbrella to exchange knowledge about doing business in Japan and the Netherlands.
