Gaurav Mehra and Darren Pigg join Capco as partner
Global financial services consultancy Capco has appointed two new partners in its Asia division: Gaurav Mehra and Darren Pigg.
Based out of Singapore, Gaurav Mehra brings 24 years of experience managing projects focused on strategic cost optimization, operational and digital transformation, target operating model development, design thinking, workforce transformation, predictive analytics and client experience to the firm.
At Capco, Mehra has been appointed a Partner and Head of Transformation for Asia Pacific. His key remit focus will be on accelerating the growth of the Transformation practice across the region, with a focus on South East Asia and India.
Mehra joins Capco from EY, where he led the firm’s business and digital transformation across the Banking, Wealth, Payments, and Insurance sectors in the Hong Kong market.
Prior to EY, Mehra was a Partner at KPMG and Head of Client Engagement at Kairoleaf Analytics, working across several markets including the United States, United Kingdom, India, and Hong Kong. Prior to these consulting roles, he held senior positions at Royal Bank of Scotland, ABN AMRO and GE Capital.
Darren Pigg meanwhile has been appointed a Partner and Insurance Leader for Asia Pacific. He will focus on further building Capco’s insurance practice, in particular around digital transformation and innovation across the insurance value chain.
Pigg, who is based in Hong Kong, joins Capco from Sun Life where he was the Chief Transformation Officer for Asia, based in Hong Kong. With over 20 years of consulting and advisory experience, his areas of expertise include innovation, digital transformation, customer and distribution strategy, data analytics and large programme implementation.
He previously was a Partner at KPMG, where he led the Customer, Digital and Analytics practice for the insurance vertical, and spent over a decade with PwC, mainly based out of London with his final year spent in Singapore. Pigg started his career as an Economic Advisor to the UK Government.
