Hirotaka Uchida and Toshihiro Ariki parter at Arthur D. Little

Global management consulting firm Arthur D. Little has elected eleven new partners worldwide, including two in Asia: Hirotaka Uchida and Toshihiro Ariki.

Based in Bangkok, Hirotaka Uchida is a partner in the firm’s Automotive and Manufacturing practice. He specialises in strategy development and execution, research & development, sustainability, mobility, and innovation.

Uchida works for clients in automotive such as original equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and mobility players), and manufacturing groups with a focus on the industrial equipment and electric appliances segments. He also has a track record in the energy sector.

Before joining Arthur D. Little, Uchida worked seven years at Deloitte and around five years at Accenture. He has lived and worked in Thailand, Singapore, China, and Hong Kong.

Based in Tokyo, Toshihiro Ariki also is a member of the Automotive and Manufacturing practice. His main working fields are business strategy, research & development, new business planning and execution, robotics, and industrial machinery.

In particular, Ariki has extensive project experience in the automotive parts industry and robotics field. In recent years, he worked on the concepts of MaaS (Mobility as a service) and RaaS (Robot as a service), helping clients conceptualise and adopt the solutions.

A lifetime company member, Ariki previously spent a year working from Arthur D. Little’s office in Paris.
