Maz Amirahmadi appointed to global board of InSites Consulting
InSites Consulting has promoted the regional head of its Asia Pacific division, Maz Amirahmadi, to its global executive committee.
A professional with 25+ years of experience in the market research and consumer intelligence domain, Maz Amirahmadi has been with InSites Consulting for over thirteen years, including a decade with predecessor ABN Impact.
Drawing on experience gained in the UK and Asia, Amirahmadi co-founded ABN Impact in Singapore in 2010, and led the firm’s growth into one of Asia’s leading market research houses. ABN Impact joined Belgium-headquartered InSites Consulting in 2019, and adopted its parent’s brand the following year.
In the role of Managing Director Asia, Amirahmadi oversees the company’s offices in Asia, which together generate around one fifth of InSites Consulting’s global turnover (amounting to around $23 million).
Now part of the global executive committee, Amirahmadi has been tasked with further exploring synergies between the Asian business with the other parts of the group. He joins Chief Executive Officer Kristof De Wulf, Chief Growth Officer Tom De Ruyck, Chief People Officer Els De Paepe, and fellow Regional Managing Directors Camille Nicita (US), Magali Geens (EMEA), and Fiona McNae (UK) in the board, among others.
InSites Consulting has around 900 people across 23 locations. The company, which is backed by European private equity group Mentha Capital, generated revenues of $115 million in 2022.
In January this year, InSites Consulting acquired German counterpart Happy Thinking People.
