Britton Russell, John Park and Michael Haftl partner at AlixPartners
Global management consultancy AlixPartners has promoted three of its directors in Asia to partner level: Britton Russell, John Park, and Michael Haftl.
Britton Russell is an expert in retail and consumer products, with more than 25 years of industry and consulting experience in the field. He has worked globally in North America, Europe, and Asia across a range of operational functional areas, with deep expertise in supply chain operations.
In his consulting experience, Britton held multiple leadership roles at Kurt Salmon Associates (now part of Accenture). During his career in industry, he held leadership roles at Michael Kors and The Home Depot, among others.
John Park has more than 20 years of experience in management consulting, helping client companies deal with their strategic and operational challenges. Prior to joining AlixPartners, he was with McKinsey & Company for five years and with Kearney for three years. He has worked with multinational and domestic companies in consumer products, retail, automotive, heavy manufacturing, and construction.
Before consulting, Park founded and was CEO of an internet company in Los Angeles, was a B767 fleet manager at Delta Air Lines in Atlanta, and was an engineer at the US Navy’s Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Virginia.
Michael Haftl has more than 20 years of experience leading financial and operational turnarounds in various high-impact situations. He specialises in working with companies and their creditors to improve performance, reduce costs, optimise cash flow, and maximise enterprise value.
In addition to his advisory work, Haftl has served in various senior interim management roles such as chief financial officer (CFO), treasurer, financial planning and analysis, and chief administrative officer. His work has spanned multiple geographies, especially across Asia and the United States, and he has broad industry experience.
Prior to joining AlixPartners in 2007, he was a senior vice president at a consultancy specialising in turnarounds and restructurings, having previously served KPMG and Deloitte.
Russell and Haftl are based in AlixPartners’ office in Hong Kong, Park operates out of Seoul.
