Benson Mak joins Alvarez & Marsal’s forensic technology practice
Alvarez & Marsal has strengthened its Forensic Technology practice in Greater China with Benson Mak.
Appointed a Senior Director, Benson Mak will focus on growing the firm’s forensic technology, eDiscovery and cybersecurity offerings. Based out of Alvarez & Marsal’s Hong Kong office, Mak will serve clients across multiple Asian markets.
Mak joins the global management consulting firm after five years at law firm Baker McKenzie where he latterly was Associate Regional Director for the Global eDiscovery & Data Advisory practice. In this role, he was responsible for building and growing the advisory practice across the Asia Pacific region.
Earlier in his career, Mak was Consultant Legal Technologies at Kroll. His track record includes managing forensic technology, electronic discovery and information technology security assignments across Asia Pacific, UK and US jurisdictions. He has worked for multinational corporations (including Fortune 500 companies), government bodies and regulators.
