BrazilHKA unites Oceania and Asia practices into single business
Global consulting firm HKA has merged its Oceania and Asia practices to form a single, 150-strong integrated business.
The new Asia Pacific division brings together 145 people, including ten partners, in nine offices across seven countries, and is led by Benjamin Highfield, who has been appointed Regional CEO for Asia Pacific.
“The synergies between Asia and Oceania have been apparent for some time. With our new investor onboard, it is the perfect time to bring the regions together, and it’s the next step in HKA’s evolution as a business,” said Renny Borhan, Global CEO of HKA.
“Establishing our Asia Pacific region supports HKA’s growth ambitions and unites Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, setting them up for further successful collaboration and growth,” Borhan added.
London-headquartered HKA specialises in risk mitigation, dispute resolution and litigation support within the capital projects, construction and infrastructure sectors. The award-winning consultancy works with law firms, contractors, corporates, operators and other professional services firms.
Highfield added: “The merger has created a stronger team in terms of experience, ambition and ability to provide services at various levels. Colleagues can enjoy the benefits of working together across the wider region and the integration will improve, grow, and enhance our service offerings for clients. It’s an exciting time as we expand the Asia Pacific team and build on our existing strengths.”
The Asia Pacific division is led by a seven-strong leadership team, with chief Highfield flanked by Alistair Mein, Amelia East, Jonathan Humphrey, Kourosh Kayvani, Nicky Batt, and Shamila Neelakandan.
