Martin Wong joins FTI Consulting’s restructuring practice

FTI Consulting has strengthened its restructuring capabilities in Asia with Martin Wong, who brings more than two decades of experience to the firm.

Martin Wong joins the global consultancy from Big Four firm KPMG, where he was a partner and head of the restructuring and insolvency practice in Singapore.

He is highly regarded within the market, bringing with him a wide range of experience and an extensive network at what is an exciting period of growth for the firm in Asia,” said Vincent Fok, Head of FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring division in Asia.

Wong has during his career gained extensive experience in rehabilitative corporate restructuring and insolvency administration involving judicial management appointments, schemes of arrangement, receiverships, and voluntary and court liquidation.

His track record spans working on the some of the largest local and international restructuring and insolvency appointments, including Lehman Brothers in Asia Pacific, numerous listed entities and large privately held organisations with offshore operations.

Wong has worked in multiple markets, including China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and Thailand in Asia, and beyond in countries such as United States, United Kingdom, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Italy, Germany, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates.
