BrazilGreater China team of R&G Global Consultants joins Argon & Co
Around a year after acquiring the European operation of R&G Global Consultants, global operations and supply chain consultancy Argon & Co has now also welcomed R&G’s Greater China team into its Asian division.
In February 2021, R&G Global Consultants joined Argon & Co in the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Germany. Founded in 2004 by former leaders of General Electric’s Lean and Six Sigma division, R&G Global Consultants specialised in operations and manufacturing excellence.
A year down the line, the China and Hong Kong practice has similarly crossed to Argon & Co, which now sees its footprint grow to 13 countries worldwide. In Asia, the firm also has offices in India and Singapore.
“We are delighted to formally join Argon & Co at this exciting time. We look forward to providing real time support for clients, with expertise from consultants that understand the local culture and business language,” said Boon How Chong, co-founder of R&G in Greater China.
The Hong Kong office, which becomes the 14th office under the Argon & Co mantle, works with clients to assess their procurement, manufacturing, and logistics capabilities, and transform their operations. The domestic team has experience across a broad range of industries including retail, fashion, high-tech, computer and electronic components.
“The integration of the Hong Kong office increases our footprint in the large and important Asia market, as well strengthening our positioning. Our group has ambitious plans and will be expanding services to clients and opening more offices around the world wherever needed,” said Yvan Salamon, CEO of Argon & Co.
The deal comes two months after Argon & Co beefed up its presence in Australia and New Zealand with the acquisition of Pollen Consulting Group, a supply chain specialist in the FMCG sector.
