Kantar Public has bolstered its team in Singapore with Leong Chan-Hoong, a high-profile expert in government policy evaluation across the Asia Pacific.

Chan-Hoong brings over a decade of experience in policy development and analysis to the specialist consulting firm. He joins from Singapore University, where he held positions as Associate Professor at the Centre for Applied Research and Senior Research Fellow and Head of Social Lab at the Institute of Policy Studies.

Over the past ten years, Chan-Hoong contributed to several key national survey programmes in Singapore, including on immigration & integration, military conscription, vocational education, youth development and social trust.

Chan-Hoong has consulted widely for various agencies (e.g. defence, education, population), statutory boards (e.g. People’s Association), and international organs (e.g. Israel Science Foundation, Konrad Adenaur Stiftung, British Council), and served on the boards of the Research & Advisory Panel, National Council of Social Service, NYC Youth Conversation, and REACH Integration Workgroup of Singapore’s Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth.

Now at Kantar Public, he will focus on providing research and advisory services for decision-making to governments. He joins a team of over 800 professionals worldwide.
