BrazilSimon-Kucher promotes Kiran Pudi and Winnie Ong to partner
As part of a record intake of 24 new partners worldwide, Simon-Kucher & Partners has admitted Kiran Pudi and Winnie Ong to its partnership in Singapore.
Hot on the heels of announcing 22% growth in revenues (up to €442 million for the 2021 financial year), Simon-Kucher & Partners has unveiled its year start cohort of new partners, with two Asia-based company members among the promotees.
Globally, the sales & marketing strategy and pricing consulting firm now has 160 partners – they lead a team of 1,700 professionals working from 42 offices.
Kiran Pudi lead Simon-Kucher’s Chemicals practice in Asia and co-leads the B2B practice across the region. He brings more than 15 years of pricing consulting experience to the partnership, serving B2B clients across many industries and geographies.
Pudi’s specialises in end-to-end pricing transformation projects, involving price setting, commercial terms, price execution, capability building, assessment, and monitoring, and has deep experience in advanced analytics, machine learning based dynamic and digital pricing. His industry coverage includes chemicals, industrials, private equity, manufacturing, high-tech, business services, and automotive.
Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, Pudi worked for McKinsey & Company in New York and London in its Pricing practice. In addition, he founded and ran a pricing-focused consulting firm for eight years.
Winnie Ong has been with Simon-Kucher for over a decade, having joined the firm as a junior after completing her studies at the National University of Singapore (at the time she was one of the first employees of the Singapore office).
Over the past 10+ years, she worked from the firm’s offices in Singapore and Munich. She specialises in go-to-market strategies, price optimisation and commercial policy across various industries, and has advised several international clients in Southeast Asia and China, and Europe. Her focus is mainly on clients in telecom, media and technology.
