Steward Redqueen promotes Pauline Brunner to Singapore leader
International sustainability and impact consultancy Steward Redqueen has promoted Pauline Brunner to Head of its Singapore office.
Steward Redqueen launched its Singapore operation in 2018, and has since leveraged its permanent presence in the country to serve a growing number of clients across Asia Pacific, including in Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Bangladesh and India.
Following the departure of Tias van Moorsel, who set up and established the Singapore office (he now is Director ESG Solutions at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation), the Dutch-origin consultancy has appointed Pauline Brunner to fill his shoes.
Having worked with Van Moorsel over the past two years in Singapore, Wouter Scheepens, co-founder and partner at Steward Redqueen, said that Brunner was the logical candidate to take the reins. “Pauline has a strong track record in working with our clients in the food & beverage, extractives and financial sectors, and worked closely with Tias in building up our presence.”
Brunner advises organisations on their sustainability and impact strategies, with a focus on engagements in developing markets. She specialises in helping clients with quantifying and understanding their social-, environmental-, and economic impact, developing ESG risk management systems, and adopting sustainable finance practices.
Alongside serving multinationals and development finance institutions, she also advises financial investors and private equity firms with aligning their investment strategies and portfolios to ESG objectives.
On her new role, Brunner said: “I am proud of the opportunity to represent Steward Redqueen in Singapore and am looking forward to continuing supporting our clients in future-proofing their business and advancing the sustainability agenda."
Prior to joining the boutique consulting firm, Brunner worked for Mast-Jägermeister in Singapore and fast moving consumer goods trading firm in Germany.
