Bain promotes Hiroaki Adachi and Sho Ikeno to partner
Global strategy consulting firm Bain & Company has promoted Japan-based company members Hiroaki Adachi and Sho Ikeno to partner.
The duo of new partners have been admitted into Bain’s partnership following a strong year for the consulting firm, with Global Managing Partner Manny Maceda late last year unveiling that the firm has achieved another solid year of growth, despite the continued disruption caused by the pandemic.
Across its 63 offices in 38 countries, Bain & Company promoted a total of 78 individuals to the leadership positions of partner and expert partner, including Hiroaki Adachi and Sho Ikeno in the Tokyo office (which launched in the 1970s).
Hiroaki Adachi is an expert in Bain’s Digital, Customer Strategy & Marketing, Retail and Financial Services practices. He has extensive consulting experience in corporate and digital strategy, customer strategy & marketing and customer loyalty.
Throughout his career, Adachi has worked across a range of industries, such as financial services, retail, consumer goods and services, telecommunications, healthcare and technology.
Sho Ikeno is an expert in Bain’s Retail, Financial Services and Strategy practices. He has more than 10 years of consulting experience, primarily within the retail and consumer products industries, across Japan, North America and Africa.
A recipient of Bain’s annual Bright-Dix Memorial Award, Ikeno advises both multinational and Japanese clients on topics ranging from corporate and growth strategy to company transformation.
“A big congratulations to Hiroaki and Sho for their commitment to upholding our firm’s values and delivering on exceptional client results. We welcome them to the ranks of our leadership team and wish them continued success as they assume their new responsibilities,” said Maceda.
