Srinivasan Ramabhadran in board of DuPont Sustainable Solutions
Global consulting firm DuPont Sustainable Solutions has promoted Srinivasan Ramabhadran, the leader of its Asia Pacific business, to board member.
Srinivasan Ramabhadran has been with the consulting firm for close to decades, initially working from the firm’s offices in India and later on crossing to Singapore, where he still is based. He currently is Regional Managing Director for Asia Pacific, overseeing DuPont Sustainable Solutions’ operations in Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, China, India and Philippines.
Previously, Ramabhadran led the firm’s consulting business across Asia Pacific in the areas of operational risk management, operational excellence, innovation management and learning management solutions, and served as the global leader of the Process Safety & Risk Management practice.
Other board members of DuPont Sustainable Solutions are Davide Vassallo (Chief Executive Officer), Vladimir Kral (CFO), Guy Semmens (Chairman), Robert Watson, Cedric Perlet, George Serafeim and John Richard.
The latter two were appointed simultaneously with Srinivasan. Serafeim is regarded one of the world’s foremost thought leaders in ESG and joined DSS following the acquisition of KKS Advisors. Richard has been with DuPont for close to three decades and is currently the general manager of its $3 billion safety business.
In his new executive role, “Srinivasan will play a critical role on our Board of Directors to advise and guide the company’s strategic growth in the Asia Pacific region,” said Vassallo.
The elevation of Ramabhadran comes at a time of high demand for DuPont Sustainable Solutions’ services. With the Covid-19 putting risks in the areas of safety, operations and the environment at the top of strategic priorities, the Switzerland-headquartered group has seen its revenues and footprint grow strongly over the past two years – despite the impact of the pandemic-induced downturn.
Earlier this year, DuPont Sustainable Solutions – which has over 1,000 consultants and staff – was named the world’s leading consulting firm for environment, health & safety (EHS) services for the fifth year in a row by decision-makers.
“Srinivasan’s experience and counsel will also play an important role in guiding our strategic direction as we continue to diversify offerings and grow across various regions,” concluded Semmens.
