Luc Kremers leads Buck Consultants International in Asia
Buck Consultants International has named the Dutchman Luc Kremers as regional leader of its Asian division.
In the role, Kremers will lead the firm’s offices in Singapore en Shanghai, and oversee client management and project delivery across Asia. “I’m pleased to join Buck Consultants International and support the firm’s growth ambition in the region.”
Founded in 1985, Buck Consultants International specialises in four main areas of work: economic development, supply chain and logistics advisory, real estate location strategy, and manufacturing optimisation. The consulting firm is headquartered in the Netherlands, and has further offices in the United Kingdom, Germany, France and the US, alongside the pair in Singapore and China.
“Many companies worldwide are eyeing expansion into Asia, opening offices, factories or distribution centres in China or Southeast Asia. Meanwhile, players already in the region seek advice on developing robust logistics chains and production, and on how they can future-proof their network to respond to the fast-growing e-commerce market,” said Kremers.
“Buck Consultants International has the experience and expertise to help clients – private sector companies, governments and investors – successfully navigate these and more issues.”
Kremers brings more than 25 years of experience to the role, over twenty of which he gained in Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Prior to joining Buck Consultants International, he led his own supply chain & logistics consulting boutique, and before that he held sales and business development roles at Starboard and Forizons. Earlier in his career, Kremers led Ortec’s operation in Asia.
Patrick Haex, managing partner at Buck Consultants International said: “We are excited that Luc will lead our fast-growing Asia business. He is an experienced professional and knows the region very well.”
Earlier this year, Buck Consultants International was named one of America’s top consulting firms by Forbes. Meanwhile, the firm has over the years bagged several awards in its home market of the Netherlands.
