Stacey Lau joins Kroll's restructuring practice in Hong Kong

Global consulting firm Kroll has strengthened its restructuring practice in Asia with Stacey Lau. 

A Chartered Surveyor and a Chartered Financial Analyst, Stacey Lau brings over two decades of experience restructuring, insolvency, disputes and investigations to the firm. Based in Kroll’s Hong Kong office, Lau will focus on distressed clients in the real estate and construction sectors. 

During her career, Lau has worked on and managed some of the largest construction restructurings in Hong Kong, spanning enforcement and recovery actions for clients including lenders and investors with real estate assets across Asia and Europe, developers, contractors and consultants.

Previously, she worked as a senior restructuring adviser for Ernst & Young, Borrelli Walsh and Alvarez & Marsal. She began her career at Levett and Bailey (now Rider Levett Bucknall) working on construction cost management and dispute resolution assignments and later focused on preparing expert testimony for insurers, developers, consultants and contractors in arbitration and litigation proceedings of construction or transaction disputes.

In April this year, Kroll appointed four new Managing Directors in Asia: David Klopp, James McLeary, Priscilla Cheng and William Leung.
