Hozpitality Group, a global network of hospitality consultancies and other providers, has expanded its footprint to the Maldives through a new partnership with Premier Advisory Consultancy.

Based in Singapore, Premier Advisory Consultancy is a boutique consulting firm that provides human resource, talent management and hospitality management services to hospitality players including hotels, restaurants, airlines, travel agencies, cruise lines, and suppliers across the ecosystem.

As part of the partnership, Premier Advisory Consultancy will represent Hozpitality Group in the Maldives, which according to Hozpitality Group CEO Raj Bhatt “has always been a fascinating and high-yielding market for us and the hospitality industry.”

“The island has proved sustainable tourism even during the worst days of the pandemic. We’re optimistic that with the rise of the inoculation rate worldwide, Maldives will soon regain the title of being the best place to be in the Indian Ocean.”

Based in Dubai, Hozpitality Group consists of a group of labels that all focus on different parts of the professional services chain. The firm has a consulting and training subsidiary (Hozpitality Consulting), an executive search arm (Hozpitality Recruitment), a media house (which produces a TV show known as Hozpitality Buzz – The inside scoop) and an annual award ceremony (which currently runs only in the Middle East). The firm also runs the Hozpitality.com online community.

Led by CEO Bernard Columba and Co-Founder Patrick Ho, Premier Advisory Consultancy will focus on delivering two services to local clients in (or those expanding into) the Maldives: consulting and training. Columba is a twenty-year veteran of the hospitality industry, he has a strong background in leadership coaching, talent development compensation, employee benefits, employee relations, change management and legal compliance.

Prior to becoming a consultant, he held several human resources and inhouse consultant roles at hotel chains such as Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas, Six Senses Resorts & Spas, Serena Hotels, Hilton, and Hyatt.

Ho has more than twelve years of experience in corporate training and consultancy. As a Certified John Maxwell Leadership trainer, Ho has delivered leadership training to a diverse pool of clientele, including hospitality groups and government agencies.

“We're delighted to have Patrick and Bernard on board to expand in the Maldives,” said Bhatt.

Other regions Hozpitality Group covers through partnerships with consultancies include Canada, the UAE, Pakistan and the Philippines – “we are working with some other partners and will soon make new announcements in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania,” concluded Bhatt.
