BrazilJason Yau takes the reins of RSM in Asia Pacific
RSM has a new boss for its Asia-Pacific regional division: Hong Kong-based Jason Yau.
Jason Yau has been with the global accounting and consulting firm since 2004 and has nearly 20 years of professional experience under his belt. having previously gained experience internationally, including in the US, Yau joined RSM Hong Kong in 2016 to help co-establish the Technology and Management Consulting division which provides services including digital transformation, cybersecurity review, IT assurance and robotic process automation.
In his new role, Yau is tasked with expanding RSM’s footprint in the region’s mid-market segment, across its main areas of services: accounting, assurance, tax advisory, management consulting, financial advisory and technology.
With more than 48,000 people working from offices in 120+ countries, RSM is one of the globe’s largest professional services firms. Asia Pacific is the firm’s third-largest geographic region, and more importantly, one of its top growth targets. In 2020, despite the Covid-19 crisis, RSM managed to grow its headcount in the region by almost 2,000 professionals.
