Zudy partners with LanciaConsult to fuel Asia growth

Within a month of establishing a presence in Asia, low-code platform Zudy has agreed an alliance with LanciaConsult, a Singapore based management consulting firm. 

Founded in 2014, Zudy is a provider of a low-code development platform that helps companies develop applications in weeks – not months – integrating seamlessly with all existing data sources and systems including SAP, Salesforce, Oracle and Microsoft. Leveraging the low-code platform, companies can speed up their digital transformation efforts, by letting go of the traditional dependency on IT teams and through more agile development processes.

Having expanded its roster of clients in home market the US over the past years, in September Zudy established a based in Singapore with the aim of building a footprint in the region. According to CS Lim and Gaj Pasupathy, who jointly lead the business in Asia, “Vinyl, Zudy’s low-code no-code platform is a great fit for the Asia Pacific region. This is exactly what businesses have been waiting for.”

Making their case, Zudy already serves a number of clients in Asia. For one client, a global tire manufacturer, Zudy’s platform served as the backbone for integrating a new customised Order Management Application with SAP and Microsoft AX, working in concert with the existing IT infrastructure. The application (based on Vinyl) was delivered in “a few weeks” said Lim and Pasupathy, going live in over twelve countries. 

Across the region, Zudy currently provides support services to Vinyl users in Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and Vietnam, “with plans for future expansion in the coming months” said Lim and Pasupathy. 

Supporting its growth strategy is the partnership with LanciaConsult, a 50-strong consulting firm with offices in Singapore and the UK. The two firms will team up on the delivery of projects, with LanciaConsult providing transformation consulting, low code strategy and implementation expertise. Meanwhile, the firm will integrate Zudy’s Vinyl into its digital transformation offerings. 

“Providing the Vinyl low-code platform to our clients is a ‘natural step’ for LanciaConsult,” said Jeffrey Cronkshaw, Managing Director of LanciaConsult. “Vinyl enables our clients to quickly bring digital solutions online for much lower investment and greater value.”

Earlier this year, LanciaConsult became a managed services provider (MSP) partner of software vendor Boomi.
