Paul Marsh named head of Triquesta’s business consulting arm
Six years after leaving the company, Paul Marsh has re-joined Singapore-based fintech firm Triquesta as global head of its business consulting division.
Founded in 2006 by the Dutchman Anton van Etten, Triquesta is a financial technology firm that helps financial institutions with solutions for enhanced credit decisions and processing. The company has around 40 employees, the most of which are based in its headquarters in Singapore.
Following the senior hires of Joost Loves (Amsterdam), Pieter Klaassen (Zurich) and Geoff Cox (Sydney) earlier this year, the latest senior to join the team is Paul Marsh. He brings over 20 years of experience in the trade and commodity finance industry to the firm, the most of which was gained in the banking sector.
He most recently worked for Rabobank in Singapore, where he was responsible for collateral management. Before that, he led collateral management teams at both Fortis Bank and BNP Paribas, and worked a number of years for MeesPierson (now part of ABN Amro). In between his banking career, Marsh worked three years for Triquesta as Vice President of Operations.
In his new capacity as global head of business consulting, he will focus on building out Triquesta’s advisory capabilities around managing collateral and finance, and on expanding the ecosystem of implementation partners the firm partners with. Further responsibilities are directing traditional trade finance structures and supply chain solutions such as borrowing base, inventory as well as pre-export and receivable financing.
“I made the decision to join Triquesta to use my experience and be part of Triquesta’s mission of supplying excellent trade finance solutions that add value to our clients and help them manage their business effectively,” Marsh said.
