From your base in the Thailand office, you will have exposure to engagements across a variety of countries such as: Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and reach as far north as China & Japan or as far south as Australia and NZ.

The role

As a Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will typically be working as part of a team of consultants, playing an active role in helping to deliver positive outcomes for our clients.

You will play an important role in analyzing client challenges, developing and testing solutions, formulating and implementing recommendations in collaboration with client team members. This requires working closely with clients, often onsite at the client, and working closely with the team to ensure successful delivery of impact through the project. You will receive coaching & guidance from colleagues along the way, with an expectation that you will develop and deliver client-ready outputs aligned to the case deliverables.

Client engagements can relate to all aspects related to procurement and supply chain value delivery, including (but not limited to):

• Procurement transformations: optimize procurement strategies & operating model through diagnostics, design & implementation.
• Savings programs: identification & delivery of tangible savings for clients.
• Supply chain optimization: enhance the supply chain operations.
• Sustainable procurement: understand and address sustainability opportunities & challenges across the supply chain, such as Scope 3 decarbonization, responsible sourcing, circular economy & modern slavery
• Capability development: upskill the capabilities of clients through structured learning pathways

These engagements can cover a wide range of industry sectors including, amongst others: FMCG, Advanced Manufacturing, Financial Services, Infrastructure, Private Equity, Agri, Pharma, Energy, Telco and Technology.

Consultant / Senior Consultant will work with a wider team to achieve excellence in client value and will be measured by project delivery utilization and output, as well as contribution and support for sales activity, revenue generation, ongoing growth, renewal of contracts and repeat work.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for candidates with demonstrable industry experience in procurement, with significant exposure in Thailand and, preferably, more broadly across Asia. Our ideal candidate will be able to leverage their experience to develop and execute category & sourcing strategies and drive tangible results for our clients.

For you to be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate a strong track record in:

• Project delivery: working as part of a team on complex procurement & supply chain projects from start to finish, delivering successful project outcomes on-time and on-budget.
• Procurement & supply chain expertise: Previous procurement and supply chain experience, ideally assisting clients who have complex, corporate environments on topics such as savings delivery, procurement transformation, capability development, contract management, leading major negotiations, supply chain optimization, etc.
• Category management knowledge & experience: An understanding of direct and/or indirect categories: key value levers, commodity value chains, depth of experience in industry, the strategic relationship between spend categories and corporate strategy & operations
• Stakeholder management: building relationships with internal and external clients through effective communication and engagement skills, managing expectations, identifying and solving issues, and influencing decisions
• Linguistics: Fluency in English & Thai, both written & oral.

It should be noted that Consultant / Senior Consultant are required to be willing to travel and engage with our clients onsite
