Position Summary
FTI Consulting is looking for an experienced and qualified Finance Manager from the commercial sector, preferably with audit experience. As a Finance manager, you will be responsible for developing financial reports and analysis on business performance across the region. You will also provide coaching to junior team members and work collaboratively with the APAC regional Finance team to develop and maintain appropriate finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee month end close process for the offices in the Asia Region.
- Supervise a team of staff and provide guidance.
- Review client's contracts and ensure proper revenue recognition.
- Perform analytical reviews and review financial results on a monthly basis.
- Review journal entry vouchers and balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Manage and oversee annual statutory audits, tax and secretarial compliance for Asia entities.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents and professionals regarding audit, tax and other regulatory matters for Asia entities.
- Respond to enquiries from Asia offices, the US head office and other regional accounting teams.
- Streamline the workflow and procedures including working with accounting system support team to improve efficiency and enhance control of the system.
- Ensure internal controls in compliance with SOX.
- Assist in managing projects and ad-hoc assignments as required.
- Qualified accountant.
- At least 8 years' related experiences, of which 3 years or above in supervisory role at sizable companies, and MNC and/or Big 4 audit experience is highly preferred.
- Strong accounting and taxation knowledge in Asian countries such as Hong Kong, Singapore, etc.
- Strong written skills in English and excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills and multi-tasking management.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Experience in system implementation would be advantageous
