Senior Accountant, Accounts Payable, Finance, Shanghai

Position Summary

We are looking for bright, energetic and highly motivated individuals to join and grow with our regional shared service centre of the company. Preference will be given to suitably qualified candidates who are available immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily multi-countries invoice processing payments and settlements for external parties and for Asia offices
• Review employees' expense claims and arrange reimbursement payments
• Being involved in arranging funding in/out with inter-companies
• Perform daily cash management duties, including recording of bank deposits and posting to the accounts receivable sub-ledger
• Communicate with business practices for outstanding accounts receivables and support collections when necessary
• Assist in bank guarantee co-ordination
• Assist in providing supporting docs for audit and SOX purposes
• Run reports from accounting and supporting systems as per request and handle inquiries from business units
• Support in the migration to the new ERP platform
• Being involved in ad-hoc tasks assigned and provide supports to the Finance department when necessary

Key Requirements

• Degree holder majoring in Accountancy is preferred
• 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong sense of commitment, self-motivated and well organized
• Good interperonsal and Excellent communication skills with proficiency in Chinese and English
• Ability to work under pressure and willing to learn
• Proficient in MS Office
• MNC/Regional operating experience is preferred but not essential

This position reports to the Finance Manager and will be working closely as a team member of the processing and transaction support team. This position will liaise/interact closely with Segments and other APAC offices and communicate well with external professionals and bankers.
