Leveraging expertise in growth, finance, operations, supply chain, real estate, technology, and transactions, the Business Transformation & Strategy group (a practice of Corporate Finance & Restructuring Segment) helps client drive change across the enterprise.

Work with Business Transformation & Strategy to support on:
  • Investment screening
  • Commercial and operational due diligence
  • Business strategy and development
  • Post-merger integration
  • Performance improvement and business transformation
  • Interim management


What You'll do
  • Participate in strategic planning of pitches and engagements, responsible for project management and client communication
  • Prepare engagement deliverables, such as market models, financial models, draft reports, and presentations; work to ensure a quality product within established timeframes
  • Interact directly with investors, C-level executives, lawyers, bankers, and other professionals; provide coaching and development to junior team members
  • Manage commercial and operational due diligence assignments and identify risks and opportunities for prospective investments
  • Manage post-deal performance improvement and business transformation assignments and propose solutions for clients to enhance their business. Being able to independently lead an entire project from planning throughout to implementation
  • Assimilate relevant information in unfamiliar situations, apply business acumen to address key issues, and align different resources to deliver achieve the goals in a fast-moving environment.
  • Assist in new business development, prepare marketing materials and attend client meetings


Key Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree holder in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA or PhD, etc.) is preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant consulting or corporate experience in due diligence, performance improvement, cost and production optimization, merger and acquisition, supply chain management, and business strategy planning
  • Experience in being part of commercial due diligence, Growth Strategy, Performance Improvement and other relevant Transaction Strategy engagements for global private equity funds and in corporate strategic deals would be essential
  • Self-motivated, independent, proactive and adaptable to unanticipated challenges
  • A good team player with excellent interpersonal, managerial and analytical skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to complete multi-tasks in a timely manner under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English and be able to draft and write expert reports
  • Travel required to clients and to FTI office(s).
